The whole world has landed in my room!
Guess why? Yup...am glad with the purchase of a huge world map. The world is now in my hands...Just flew from the icelands of Alaska to the prairies of California all the way to quaint Turkey. Hopped over to Nepal before landing at Cape town...Ah.. St.. petersburg next! Ha ha had great fun pouring over the map and letting the imagination run wild. Look at the vastness of this whole world.. wow...
And all this from the Creator? I'm speechless....

Good bye holiday.. i Bid you a fond farewell.... muackz! Thou hast been good to me. Thy hand provideth me riches of His word, shown me the majesties of His creation, allowed me pleasures ever more and days of sleeping in. Hmm.... how sweet...
Boo hoo.. soon you'll be gone in a jiffy.. 3 months just like that! Now a new phase Year 2! Wonder how this new chapter will kick off. How will this ever look?
2 days ago, during sermon time, we were encouraged to number our days.
"Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." Psalms 60:9
Suppose I were to live to a ripe old age of 70, i realise to me horror that even then, i have about 18 250 days more to live this life. This means that every day i waste is one day down from 18250. No wonder we have to number our days. Man's life on this earth is but brevity. If there is no purpose, direction, hope, these 18250 days will flown by in self-fulfillment will only add to a life of sorrow. Lord, teach me to live some 18 000 days to the hilt.
